thinking at swirloak

rosethorn had just become a warrior and went to swirloak to start thinking of what she was going to need to do.

Blade had been hunting when hecame across a cat."Hello",he meowed licking his paw.

rosethorn jumped up "who are you? and what are you doing on iceclan territory?" she asked ready for a fight.

"Oh i'm just wandering like always.I'm blade",he answered.

"nice to meet you blade, im rosethorn warrior of iceclan" she said relacking a bit but still on her gaurd "do you plan on staying long or just passing through?" she asked.

"I don't know i live a bit away from here though.This is your home?nice."he meowed his gaurd let down also.

"no this" she pointed to the tree" is not my home, it my territory, and your on my territory till you get to the river" she hissed. "my home is in a nice warm den with the rest of the warriors in camp" she said turning her back and going to sit down again.

"Really",blade meowed"how do you stay with them with out arguing?It seems hard contrubiting for outhers and not getting much in return".

"we do fight sometimes within ourselfs and sometimes with the other clans" she said "and we live together so we dont starve when were kits and elders" she said wondering why this cat was so currious.

"Ohh i see",he siad thinking about how it would be."I feel odd just to do that.I could not tolerate outhers like that".

"you'd get used to it knowing that someone in the midst of a fight would be at your tail helping you" she said "its not that weird once you get used to it"

"Ohh i guess but a loner's life is a life for me ",he meowed then lied down on his back."but it gets lonely".

"i bet" she said laying down on her paws "thats what a clan is for also" she sighed "but there are thoughs times when you want to just disapere" she added mainly to herself

Blade looked at her"Ohh like what those apprentces say'ugh i have to rub mousebile on the elders today'"he mimicked in a kit voice.

rosethorn laughed "yea like thoughs times but its also nice when your being surrounded by other cats" she said.

"Yea i guess",blade stood up."but i have no one just at the title,loner,lonely",he meowed solemly.

"well you could always come to camp with me and join iceclan" she thought "You wouldnt be so lonley"

"No i couldn't" he meowed."I could never contrubit to group like that.but i will come visit",he meowed then started to walk away.

"thank you blade" she called after him. she then descided to follow him scence she was bored.

Blade looked behind him at rosethorn.He started to walk a diffrent way,then a diffrent,then another way,until they were by the river .He jumped and looked behind him to see if she fell in.

rosethorn had tried to be quiet but when they go to the river she ackendentaly paused at the edge and sliped in by the mud "fox-dug" she cryed.

blade looked behind him and twitched his wiskers with laughter."Here"he pulled her out of the mud by the scruff and put her on the rock he was standing on."Better?",he meowed.

Rosethorn was wet and murky when pulled out "what do you think" she hissed playfuly but with a snap to it "im soking wet and cold"

Blade laughed a bit and then fell back into the mud."Well then i am to",he meowed his pelt stuck to his fur with mud.

rosethorn laughed and jumped on him "well i guess its a mud fight now isnt it?" she asked rolling in the mud.
